The Unbattle Project
Bent, NOT broken
Chronic stress can make a service member, or veteran, feel as though there is something broken inside. That is far from the truth. Lives can be made straight again.
Who We Serve
THE UNBATTLE PROJECT aims to meet a specific target audience that often falls through the cracks of traditional military support services. THE UNBATTLE PROJECT is open to:
- Any service member who was active duty during / after the Lebanon incident of 1983.
- Current active duty personnel seeking confidential counseling services.
- Uninsured veterans who do not meet eligibility requirements for Veteran’s Administration (VA) services.
To provide a no cost confidential counseling service to our military members struggling with relationship issues or who otherwise do not meet eligibility requirements for other formal services
To provide early intervention counseling to our military (post Lebanon 1983) in order to reduce the likelihood of chronic problems leading to homelessness and/or suicide.
If a service member does not retire from the military, he/she is not eligible for military coverage. THE UNBATTLE PROJECT was founded to bridge that gap. We are here to provide the tools, counseling and the support to active duty service members and veterans who would normally hide, bury, or otherwise not disclose their problems. We can show them and their family that there is a future.
Who Are We?
THE UNBATTLE PROJECT was founded in March of 2016 by Lilach Harris, MFT to satisfy a need that she recognized was not being met. THE UNBATTLE PROJECT holds fast to the principals of fair, compassionate, and effective treatment for all active duty service men and women and veterans who experience real issues but cannot qualify for traditional military services.
THE UNBATTLE PROJECT is a non-profit, tax-exempt charitable organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. EIN: 81-2176494
